Signed from local rivals Blisworth this season
having impressed playing on Sundays for the club.
Great pace and engine will be an excellent signing
for the club. Like Darnell in big brother needs suntan
cream on when outside!
James Howitt
Centre Midfield
Joined the Club in the Summer
having played up North. Great attitude
with the ability and determination to
match. Will be a good signing for the
club.
Liam Chamberlain
Midfield
His 2nd season at the club and impressed
last season. Will run for 90mins and stick his foot in
when needed. He could start a fight in a empty room!
Chris Slinn
Centre Back
I chased Slinny all summer having
seen him play for DOY a few times.
Great pace and good in the air another
great signing for the club. Oh keep your
wifes and Girlfriends away from this one!

Proves that hard work and determination is needed
to play at any level. Great attitude and dedication a true 100%.

Joined the club in the summer having
impressed in Pre-season. Great left foot
and experience to match. 27 you sure with
that much grey hair!
Jonny Tapp
Defender
A product of our U17's who has come into the adult
game without any fuss. A real find for the club who will
improve week on week already making people take note.
Already better than his brother!
Ben Avery
Centre Back
One of only a few positives to come
out of last season. Great pace which often
gets him out of trouble. At 17 a real find and
don't talk to him about his brother!
Jack Diamond
Centre Midfield
Joined the club this summer and at a
young age plays the game simple.Great feet with
an excellent final ball.
Shy lad that needs to be shown the Bar!
Matt Ablett
Centre Back/Centre Midfield
Given the choice I would have 11 of him.
Mr reliable always at training never gives less
than 100%. Last Seasons Player of the Year.
I have Managed Matt for a few yrs now and he
has only just started answering the phone to
me!

Striker/Winger
Joined in the summer having moved to the area.
Rapid pace which will cause defences problems.

Each season you discover a real find,
this season we will have a few and I am
sure this lad will be one. Plays like a lad twice
his age and at only 16 will go a long way.

Dan Hayward
Winger
Another find for the club having played for
our Sunday team. Wide man who never stops working
who can also deliver a final product.
Looks like Chesney Hawks??
James Maloy
Left Back/Utility
Been at the club a few seasons but you often
forget just how young he is. Type of player that
every club needs and at times has looked the best
player on the park. Very Jealous we all want a girlfriend
who plays football!
Jason Baugh
Defender
Recruited in the Summer he is a no nonesense
defender who takes no prisioners.
May owe the club money with bookings soon!
Jamie Panky
Right Wing
Jamie was another success story of last season
playing an important role in the 1st team. Excellent
pace and great attitude. You will be lucky to get a
word out of him all season!
Simon Meekey
Goalkeeper
Great shot stopper who is learning each week
in what is a hard position. Needs to be encouraged and
believe in his own ability.
Eats to many Snickers cause he is starting to look like MR T!
Mickey Creasey
Centre Midfield
Has returned to the club this season after
going to the dark side. Good little football
keeps the ball well and can deliver a
great dead ball. Mickey says what he thinks
which is not always great!
Dan Scott-Wade
Striker
Works hard and will pop up with goals when
needed. Can also play in goal and has proven he is
also an excellent keeper.
Dan is his own man, he often decides to go away every Saturday!
Mathaus Marriott
Left Wing/Forward
Our very own wing wizard an old fashioned
styled wide man. A player I would pay to watch
and last seasons Young Player of the Year.
I have been told he really does have 3 legs!
John Freeman

Eye for goal and will no doubt end up top scorer
in one of the sides at the club.

Gavin Harding
Goalkeeper
Brought in this summer after hearing so
many good things about this lad. Our
connections with DOY got him to the club.
In a few appearances he has shown his quality.
At his age can go all the way.
Anthony Bandy
Left/Right Wing/Centre forward
I got Bandy to join this season after he
had enjoyed many seasons at Ravensthorpe.
Great pace and will add another dimension to the side.
Roade's very own pin up and lady killer!
Matt Street
Left Back/Right Back
Had an excellent season for the Reserves last
year and has now pushed his way into the 1st team.
Everything looks so easy with Matt no messing about
does it simple. Nicknamed Quality Street!
Mathew Atkinson
Striker
Returned to the club this season and still has
his pace and great feet. Will score goals for the club
and prove to be a welcome addition.
