  • Mixed day for the Club as Reserves get back to winning ways and remain in the hunt beating Bugbrooke 5-0. After doing well to reach the Semi's a below par performance on a day when nothing went right Kislingbury run out 8-1 winners. What does not break you makes you stronger!
  • As the Manager of the 1st Team I carry the can so I for one week will write the report and the headline for this week as it is important the players to do dwell on this game and prepare for the next one. You do not become a bad side overnight.

  • Andy Priest had his appeal for a reduction in his 112day ban refused and will start his ban on March 9th until October 18th. It is the FA that need to have a respect campaign not the Refs!.

  • Roade Progress to the Semi Finals of the League Cup After a 4-3 victory at Milton. A Mark Drake hattrick secures Roades passage. A strong second half showing ensured Roade are in the hat for the semi final draw. The two sides are set to face eachother next Saturday - this time in the league.

  • James Reece finally breaks his Sunday goalscoring drought as he nets in 5-0 victory for Roade at Westone Club. After 311 days he slots home from close range to open the scoring.   • Reserves continue impressive form with 5-3 over Whitefield Res. A double for Wade and strikes from Fuller, Freeman and Pugh secured the win. Freemans strike meant he broke his record breaking goalscoring drought and opened his account for the season.
  • Sunday First dump Prem side Ritzy Old Boys out of the cup with 2-0 success. Goals from Tapp and Porter confirmed the victory.
  • Sunday Reserves beaten 5-0 by Norteles.

  • Resurgent Roade continue good form with 4-1 defeat of Heyford. A brace from Steve Wareham in his first start were added to by strikes from Priest and Drake.
  • Reserves stay top with 3-0 victory at Heyford. Two Craig Pugh strikes and an own goal ensure Roade take all three points
  • Sunday first bow out of the NFA Sunday Cup after 5-2 defeat to Trotters. Tapp and Priest strikes not enough for Roade to cause an upset.
  • Sunday Reserves suffer shock 5-3 defeat to AFC Accent Telecom. Howard, Grundy and Foote all on target for Roade.

 

  • First Team impress and beat Stanion 5-0 with Mark Drake helping himself to four. Meanwhile the reserves win 4-2 at Kettering Nomads to go top of the Reserve Premier with the help of a Pugh hattrick.
  • Bad day for the Sunday sides. First team miss a host of chances and crash to a 4-1 defeat at home to Byron Leverkusen whist Reserves dumped out of the Chron and Echo cup by The Workhouse.

  • Saturday First Team set to face Stanion in a six pointer at Connolly Way this week.  Meanwhile the top of the table Reserves make the trip to Kettering Nomads in another important league fixture.
  • Sunday First face Byron Leverkusen at Connolly Way this week looking to make ammends for their defeat earlier in the season. Meanwhile the Sunday Res face The Workhouse in the Chronicle & Echo Cup.

  • Reserves overcame Moulton 2-1 at Connolly Way on Saturday. A Matt Long double was enough to secure all three points.
